It's good to see this drawing again. You know... I saw it before in Hoon's DA gallery and I just love it and today I was studying japanese culture and I was reading about geishas while listening to some Enka songs! Hohohoho! in her description: Concept and Lineart By HOON color palette and Painted by JUJI I have to say something about 'POPE HOON' ya I gave him a nick name any ways I have been studying his art work for a long time and I have to say the best part of Hoons drawings is he always manages to slip in major detail here and there always something to surprise me in this one it would have to be the mini details in the hat and thing she's holding I don't know what it is a mid evil mower? lol but look closely its like a hidden image here and there just amazing OF COURSE the detail of the paint job on this is what brings it to life! Only thing is I agree about the hand.....but to me, all it looks like is it needs to be rid of that growth popping from the side and maybe could use less structure/veins on top.........but that's just me........Don't get me wrong, I still think this is incredible.......so I give you max +10 Beautiful work!

Anyway, someone else also mentioned what I thought when I first saw it: It reminds me of the Magna Carta concept art (by Kim). (And that's a great compliment in my eyes). This character concept if i remember correctly, was done in lineart before san diego comicon 04. which was rather significant time for this project. Look how far we came, juji! i think Epiphany was a great piece to start its series, set a nice standard for whats to come. though we had improvements in style and technicality each pieces since then, stil, this piece stands out quite strong, and no doubt, one of my favorite.
